Howard Gadd, Business Development Manager for Leadbitter, was recently appointed as Regional Director for The Forum for the Built Environment (FBE) for Wales.

With over 30 years experience in the construction industry Howard brings with him a wealth of experience to this role, establishing a wide network of contacts, particularly throughout Wales. Using this regional knowledge to his advantage Howard will raise FBE’s profile and promote the work of the FBE across Wales in a new membership drive.

Howard said: ‘I am delighted to be appointed to the role and look forward to building the presence of the FBE in the region. The industry is constantly evolving, so it’s important the FBE remains relevant to its members, including architects, developers and contractors in the years to come. I joined the FBE ten years ago as a fellow, and I am convinced of the benefits on offer. I was initially attracted to become a member of the FBE because of networking opportunities. Further than this, the FBE has allowed me to contribute to topical debate within the construction community, giving me an insight into the viewpoints of consultants, contractors and clients in both private and public markets.
