National construction company Leadbitter has moved into new offices in Coventry after targeting the Midlands as a key strategic priority for growth.
With a turnover in excess of £300 million Leadbitter has now firmly established itself as a market leader within both the housing and construction sectors.
The new office, located at Middlemarch Business Park, near Coventry Airport, will provide a local operating base for Leadbitter’s Central Construction and Central Housing Divisions.
Leadbitter has a strong track record in the Midlands, having recently completed Solihull’s new £14.1 million Tudor Grange Leisure Centre and North Solihull Sports Centre and a £16.3 million development for the Tresham Institute in Kettering.
“Leadbitter has already undertaken a number of successful housing and construction projects in the Midlands. We are therefore, in line with our commitment to the region and our quest to continuously improve the level of service we offer to our clients, delighted to announce the opening of this new regional office.” said Bob Rendell, Group Chief Executive of Leadbitter.
The Midlands is strategically important to our business growth plans and we are confident that our Coventry office will soon become as established and successful as the Group’s other operating centres across the country,” added Bob Rendell.
“We have built a strong team and presence in the Midlands and, as elsewhere in the UK, our aim is to become both the contractor and employer of choice for the region.” added Richard Nixon, Regional Director of Leadbitter.
“This is an exciting time for Leadbitter and we envisage continued success across the Midlands through organic growth. There are some interesting projects in the pipeline that we hope to be able to announce shortly.”
