Client: Yeovil College

This Arts and Engineering Building for Yeovil College presents a three-storey building providing 3500m² of teaching space for engineering, photography, arts, ceramics and media studies.

In preparation for the new facilities, the existing arts and engineering block has been demolished. All of the arts and engineering equipment has been successfully decanted into their new homes.

A helicopter, an unusual piece of equipment that engineering students work on, has been relocated and will form the centrepiece of the Engineering Workshop. The College holds a major association with nearby Westlands Helicopters, the UK's only helicopter manufacturer, with apprentices from the company spending their first year of basic engineering training at the college.
