After a series of phased internal refurbishment undertaken within a ‘live’ environment, the following areas and facilities have benefited: -

• Walk-In Centre, with treatment, assessment, x-ray and plaster rooms and waiting areas for patient with minor injuries.
• Intermediate Care and Ambulatory Care Departments, providing single and multi-patient wards with en-suite bedrooms, and nurses’ stations.
• Chronic Disease Management Centre, offering physiotherapy gym, rehabilitation pool, treatment areas and nurses’ stations.
• Old Peoples Mental Health Unit, with en-suite bedrooms, treatment rooms, day rooms, dirty utility rooms and nurses’ station / reception, colour therapy paint finishes and safety design features.
• Pre-assessment Unit, providing assessment rooms.
