Client: Buckinghamshire County Council

This project for Buckinghamshire County Council provided three classrooms, three art rooms and a laboratory within an extension to the existing school facilities.

A diverse range of materials including larch cladding, steel, glass, brick and metal sheeting have been used to create a light airy building with simplicity of form which fits neatly into a courtyard area between the existing structures.

The building makes use of underfloor heating, natural ventilation and daylight to provide ecologically sympathetic facilities. In order to maximize light for the art rooms high level windows have been incorporated.
