Client: University of Exeter
Birks Grange was handed over to University ready for the new intake of students to enjoy the facilities which included 360 en-suite bedrooms, each room equipped with double beds, broadband internet access and fridges, as well communal laundry facilities and parking.
The redevelopment of Birks Grange followed on from success at Exeter Peninsular Medical School, which provided administration blocks, teaching facilities and research laboratories.
All works were carried out within a live educational environment, which presented a strong level of organisation, coordination and close liaison with the University to ensure that full continuation of academic activities and access to facilities was sustained during all work sequences. |
