Client: Cherwell Housing Trust

This Design and Build project comprised 200 student study bedrooms with kitchen and dining facilities, manager's flat and associated external works.

This project, located in a predominantly residential area, required extremely strong liaison with the neighbouring community.  Over the course of the build period, our site team established a good rapport with the local residents and monthly meetings were held with the site neighbours to maintain this.

The project required careful traffic management and careful planning of deliveries and material movement, through the construction period.

This was the first time that Cherwell Housing Trust had built student accommodation of this kind in Oxford and was part of a ten-year management agreement between the Trust and Oxford Brookes University.
