Client: Sovereign Housing Association
This project, located upon the former Newbury Hospital site, comprises 85 one and two bedroom flats as retirement housing, with a three-storey atrium providing central community facilities and services.
Accommodation is over two/ three storeys with connecting external balconies. Residents can enjoy balconies, airy communal areas and entry phone system. Residents have named this development Carnarvon Place, to honour the 5th Earl of Carnarvon, who was instrumental in setting up the original hospital building.
A second part of the scheme, known as Thurlow Grange, provides fifteen two-bedroom flats for shared equity and has been located on the former hospital car park.
The project, finalised through a two stage process, continues our long standing and successful relationship with Sovereign Housing Association. |
