We were appointed to this four year strategic framework along with three other contractors with the aim of assisting the University to deliver a programme of £225 million capital works.

Through the framework we are able to contribute to projects from feasibility right though to completion and thus bring benefits such as early cost certainty to the University. 

By using mini competition and flexible assessments for each scheme within the framework the University is confident of achieving best value on each scheme.  At the same time the four contractors are being encouraged to share experiences, learn from each other and so drive continuous improvement within the framework. 

Regular meetings between the framework contractors are assessing the impact of works on the University’s operations, best policy for isolation of project sites from the other campus activities, health & safety and material deliveries.
