To meet the requirements of our Clients, BREEAM and the Code for Sustainable Homes we employ a dedicated Development and Innovations Manager who plays a key role in investigating industry advances and the ways in which various sustainable design options can benefit our Clients.

BREEAM ‘Excellent’ ratings have been attained on many schemes including Developments for the University of Surrey.

The “Excellence in Property Design including contribution to environmental sustainability and innovation in design” award was won by Malvern Hills phase 3 building, designed by Rubicon Design , Rogers Leaske and Couch Perry and Wilkes. The building features geothermal heating and cooling, a Termodeck® structure, together with rainwater harvesting and recycling.

The Cotswold Water Park Gateway Visitors Centre was conceived as a sustainable tourist destination and incorporates photovoltaic solar panels, an Earth Energy System utilising lake water for both heating and cooling.

Angelina Street, Cardiff, a category winner in the LABC Awards for Best Thermal/ Acoustic innovation, incorporates many the principles of Passivhaus design.
