Leadbitter are committed to assisting people of all ages but particularly the young, the long term unemployed and persons local to our project sites to enter into a career in construction. 

Leadbitter consistently offer apprenticeships working towards NVQ Level 2 and 3 Qualifications in carpentry, bricklaying and painting & decorating. Our success in this area is proven by the achievements of individual apprentices and by the fact that we maintain a zero drop out rate for Leadbitter Apprentices.

Learning a trade and providing a skilled service in construction can be a rewarding life-long career or can be a gateway to other opportunities in construction management. Leadbitter have established links with the CITB and our apprentices are provided with an individually tailored training plan which incorporates college study and practical experience on site.

Each apprentice is also appointed a mentor who remains independent of the individual’s manager and college tutors and is available to offer advice and support throughout their apprenticeship.
